Our construction methods and materials are the same as building on site with the addition of a structural steel chassis as the floor system as well as additional bracing and strengthening to allow the modules to be transported to remote areas, this essentially makes our homes stronger!
Our homes are built in a controlled environment in our shed to ensure every aspect meets the BCA (Building Code of Australia) and all Australian Standards, along with a high level of finishes.
A modular home is not a cheaper way to build it is just a different method, this particular method can be quite cost effective especially to more remote areas or areas further away from major towns/cities where building on site would not be practical due to travel and accommodation for workers and difficulty getting all the building materials to site.
We can have a 4 bedroom home fully completed at our Townsville yard, transported to your site and installed with only approx. 2 weeks required on site, sometimes less, this dramatically reduces the labour costs compared to a traditional build.
